Muslims all over the world are turning towards Jesus Christ in great numbers after experiencing supernatural encounters with Him through dreams and visions. Michael Snyder, in an article for Charisma News, shares the stories of several such Muslims who have found faith in Christ.

One such story is of Abu Radwan, a Syrian refugee who, along with his family, fled to Lebanon to escape the war. He was born into a Muslim family, and their decision to convert to Christianity was a difficult one. However, Abu Radwan states that Jesus appeared to him in a dream two years ago, after which he started attending a church and firmly believed that Jesus would come to their rescue and save them.

Radwan’s story was shared at PRI:

Another story is the miraculous conversion story of a former ISIS fighter who said he had a dream of a man in white telling him, “You are killing my people.” The Muslim man was given a Bible by a Christian man he killed. He began to read the Bible and, in a dream, heard Jesus invite him to be one of His followers.

Gina Fadely, the director of Youth With A Mission Frontier Missions (YWAM), told The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network one of their workers met a former ISIS fighter who murdered Christians, but converted after a dream:

“He told this YWAM leader that he had begun having dreams of this man in white who came to him and said, ‘You are killing my people.’ And he started to feel really sick and uneasy about what he was doing,” Fadely continued. “The fighter said just before he killed one Christian, the man said, ‘I know you will kill me, but I give to you my Bible.’ The Christian was killed, and this ISIS fighter actually took the Bible and began to read it. In another dream, Jesus asked him to follow him, and he was now asking to become a follower of Christ and to be discipled.”

Former ISIS Leader

Believers Portal also shared a recent story of a former ISIS leader Muhammad, whose powerful dream about the blood of Jesus led to his dramatic shift from Islam to Christianity. The miraculous circumstances that led to his transformation started after Muhammad who is believed to be a prince of ISIS – one who leads others into jihad, tried to kill Peter, a coordinator for Leading the Way Ministry.

Even though Peter knew it was possible that Mohammad may try to kill him, he believed God was leading him to go ahead with the meeting.

“Muhammad heard that I evangelize to Muslims,” Peter told Leading the Way. “He got my number and called saying that he wanted to meet and talk.”

Peter did not approach Muhammad hesitantly; God prodded him to proclaim the Truth boldly – even in the presence of a potentially hostile anti-Christian. Peter followed God’s lead, asserting, “Our God is not yours.” He wanted Muhammad to know that his previous experience with an impersonal religion was no comparison to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Muhammad became irate upon hearing these piercing words – words that contradicted everything he had ever known. In line with his training, he began to devise a plan to kill Peter in cold blood. According to Muhammad, Peter’s sharp words had “awakened Muhammad, the radical one.”

But before he could execute his deadly plan, Muhammad started to cry. To this day, he does not know why. Peter put a hand on his shoulder and began praying. Muhammad stormed out, clearly affected by this encounter.

Peter left the premises, knowing he had done all he could to bring Muhammad to Christ. For a full transformation, he would wait on God’s perfect timing.

Only a night or two later, Muhammad had a powerful dream about the blood of Jesus. Muhammad dreamed that Peter handed him an envelope seaping with fragrant, sweet blood. His senses were overwhelmed by the almost perfumatic scent of the blood. But Muhammad, who was no stranger to blood, was petrified in the face of this particular blood. In his dream, Peter spoke to him, “Do not be afraid.”

He woke up the next morning shaken, and went to see Peter to understand more about Christ.

“I explained the Gospel to him about the blood Jesus shed on the cross for the atonement of sins,” Peter said. “That very day, he told me that he wanted to become a Christian. Since then I have discipled him, and recently he was baptized.”

Nigerian Muslim Lawyer

Continuing with such miraculous stories of Muslims encounters with Jesus Christ is that of a Nigerian Muslim lawyer, Binta, who had an open vision of Jesus Christ.

A graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and former Programme Producer/Director with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Yola, Binta shared that on the 25th of September 1999, “at about 1:30a.m. suddenly, an unusual bright light appeared in the bedroom with a mighty wind blowing and throwing all the pictures and other valuables to the ground. My husband and I became afraid. He got up from bed, brought out charms, known in Hausa as “Hayaki”. He placed it on the ground, got hot charcoal and placed the charm on it, but the mighty wind threw it all down. Before we could make out anything, a voice thundered, saying: “You have been baptized by the Holy Spirit. Go and be “Tabitha” unto my people”. I asked my husband if he could understand what the voice was saying, but he said that he did not hear any voice”.

Munaf Ali

Munaf Ali, an influential imam, scholar and preacher of Islam in a Middle Eastern country, had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. He shared his story, saying “I was dead, and demons tried to take my soul, but Messiah Jesus came and gave my life back.”

During his encounter, Jesus spoke to Ali’s heart and said, “Listen, my son. First Adam disobeyed God and sinned against Him under Satan’s influence. I am the second Adam, the Word of God, and the Messiah Jesus, Son of the Most High. I was born of the virgin Mary as a sinless Son of Man to redeem Adam and all of his descendants, including you, from sin and death.

I was crucified and died as a ransom for all your sins to make you a child of God and a citizen of heaven. I was raised from the dead and opened the gates of heaven to bring you back to eternal glory. Have faith in me and be my witness. I give your life back, for I have the authority to give life.”

Following Ali’s story is a Pakistani Woman Who Planned To Be A Suicide Bomber but God had another plan for her.

Esther (a pseudonym used for security purposes) was set on being a suicide bomber, killing herself and murdering a few Jews or Christians all to please Allah, as she recounts in her new book Defying Jihad, but a dream completely altered the trajectory of her life.

When Esther went home to tell her parents that she had volunteered to go for “jihad,” her parents were happy to hear the news that their teenage daughter was going to kill herself for the glory of Allah.

Esther said her parents told her that everyone is going to die someday and the way she would be dying is considered a “privilege.”

But about two days before Esther was set to go on her suicide mission, she had a dream where she sat in a dark graveyard. The dream came after she fell asleep during her early-morning Muslim prayer.

“I was in a graveyard, everywhere was darkness. I was looking for a way out of the darkness. … As I was looking to come out from that graveyard, I saw a light appear,” she recounted. “And the light has arms, hands and face. I asked, ‘Is this a man made of light?’ I have never seen a man made of light. If it is an angel, there should be wings behind it. But there are no wings, just a man made of light.”

Esther said she called out to the light man, who responded with the words: “come and follow me.”

However, Esther told the man that she didn’t want to follow. At that point, the light man called out: “Esther, come and follow me.” Esther again refused, and for a third time the light called: “My daughter, come and follow me.”

“It was like, He had a connection with my thoughts. He started to walk. As he started walk, all the bushes and stones were moved off the path,” Esther said.

“I saw the light he made on the path. I started to follow the path. He stopped at one grave and he said to someone who was dead. He said, ‘Come out.’ And the person came out. I said, ‘Who are you giving life to dead people? He said, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life.’ These words, I never heard in all of my life. I said please help me to come out from this graveyard.”
