Nigerian Carpenter Stabbed Severally For Demanding His Payment After Working For a Man And He Refused to Pay Him

A Man Identified as Mr. Magnus Okafor, a carpenter who was allegedly stabbed severally on his head for demanding payment from one ‘Mighty’ a man he did carpentry work for at Ada George/Chinda axis, Port Harcourt has cried out for justice.



Mr. Magnus Okafor told our correspondent that he roofed three stores for the man simply identified as ‘Mighty’ and the said ‘Mighty’ did not pay him balance of 19,000 naira. He said ‘Mighty’ owed him balance of 2,400 naira too after he fixed a ‘China door’ for him.





Mr. Okafor disclosed that on the fateful day(last week Wednesday he went to demand 49,000 naira the said ‘Mighty’ was owing him as balance for a fresh work when ‘Mighty’ allegedly used bottle to break his head and stabbed him severally in his(Might’s) house.



Mr. Okafor disclosed that ‘Mighty’ held him hostage in his house despite that he(Okafor) was bleeding profusely and only let him to go when somebody pleaded on his behalf.

Mr. Okafor said he went to the hospital after reporting the matter to the Ada George (Rupakani) Police Division, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.



Mr. Okafor called on the Police to ensure Justice on the matter.
