Scott Ruffalo was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin USA, on 1 February 1969 – his zodiac sign was Aquarius and he held American nationality. He was a hairdresser and a stylist, but who was probably known best for having been the brother of famous American actor Mark Ruffalo.
How did he die?
On 1 December 2006, Scott was found at his home with a bullet wound in his head. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he spent a week before he died.
It was revealed that Shaha Mishaal Adham was in Scott’s house when the incident occurred and she testified that Scott played Russian roulette and killed himself. Both Shaha and her boyfriend Brian Scofield who was apparently also there, were taken into custody, but were released a day later because of a lack of evidence to keep them in custody.
However, Scott’s death has been declared a murder, but the killer hasn’t been caught to this day.
Early life and education
Scott was raised in Kenosha alongside his sisters Tania and Nicole and brother Mark, by their mother Marie Rose (nee Hebert) who was a hairdresser, and their father Frank Lawrence Ruffalo Jr. who was a construction painter.
He attended First Colonial High School at which he became interested in hairdressing mostly thanks to his mother who taught him the job. Scott was also highly sporting, as he played both football and baseball for his school’s team. Upon matriculating in 1987, he enrolled at Los Angeles University, from which he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 1991.
Not a lot is known about Scott’s career other than the fact that he spent the years before his murder working as a hairdresser. He once worked at the Giuseppe Franco Salon located in Beverly Hills, before launching his own salon – Ruff Inc.
He was asked by his brother Mark if he wanted to join the film industry, but Scott declined.
Scott was addicted to both alcohol and drugs, and this is believed to be the reason why he didn’t make a name for himself as a hairdresser. According to rumors, he entered a rehabilitation program twice, but they failed to help him.
Love life and relationships
Scott preferred to keep the details of his love life to himself, but it’s known that he was married to Luzelena,and was the step-father to her daughter named Lucinda, from a previous relationship.
Scott and Luzelena apparently met at a party organized by a mutual friend sometime in the ‘90s, and were married for around two years before divorcing.
At the time of his death, Scott was dating a mysterious girl who occasionally lived with him. They could’ve been seen spending their spare time together, and there were rumors that they were also planning to marry.
Scott had no children of his own.
Hobbies and other interests
Scott was a physically highly active man, as he had multiple training sessions at the gym each week, and also followed a strict diet. He and his friends often played football and basketball together.
He was very close to Mark, and the pictures featuring them together smiling, can be found uploaded onto the internet.
Scott liked to travel, and had apparently visited various US states for both work and pleasure, while he had also been to several European countries including Germany and Switzerland.
Scott had his own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom were the late Robin Williams, also Bruce Willis and Natalie Portman, while a couple of his favorite movies were “Good Will Hunting”, “Good Morning, Vietnam” and “Fight Club”.
He liked to party, and was apparently popular at most of the discotheques in his hometown. Scott was also keen on attending home parties, and had several friends who often organized these.

Scott was 37 years old at the time of his death.
He had short brown hair and blue eyes, his height was 5ft 8ins (1.73m) and he weighed around 150lbs (68kgs). His net worth was estimated at over $100,000 at the time of his death, while his brother Mark’s net worth is today estimated at over $35 million.

Mark Alan Ruffalo was born on 22 November 1967 in Kenosha, Wisconsin USA – his zodiac sign is Sagittarius and his nationality is American. He’s an actor and a film producer, who’s probably known best for his portrayal of Bruce Banner and Hulk in the 2012 action adventure science fiction movie “The Avengers”, written and directed by Joss Whedon, and which starred Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson. It follows the Earth’s superheroes who have come together to fight Loki and his army of aliens who are trying to rule the world. The movie won 38 awards of the 118 for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination.
Mark was raised in Kenosha, and attended the same First Colonial High School as Scott. He became interested in acting while there, and practiced his skills at the Patriot Playhouse. Following his relocation to Los Angeles, California, Mark enrolled at the Stella Adler Conservatory and then founded the Orpheus Theatre Company together with a couple of friends. While aiming to become an actor, he worked as a bartender for around a decade.
Some of his first notable performances were in the 1996 slasher movie “The Dentist”, the 1998 criminal comedy film “Safe Men”, and the 1999 revisionist western “Ride with the Devil”. In 2004, Mark played a supporting character in the critically acclaimed romantic science fiction movie “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” written and directed by Michel Gondry and which starred Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet and Tom Wilkinson. It follows two people who have dated, and have now decided to undergo a medical procedure which will erase them from each other’s memories. It ranks amongst the best 100 movies of all time and it won 73 awards including an Oscar, while it was nominated for 111 other awards. A couple of Mark’s following lead roles were in the 2004 romantic fantasy comedy “13 Going on 30”, the 2005 romantic comedy “Just Like Heaven”, and the 2007 crime drama “Reservation Road”.
Following his appearance in “The Avengers”, Mark got to play his two characters again in the next Marvel movies “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in 2015, “Avengers: Infinity War” in 2018 and “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019.
As of April 2021, Mark has appeared in over 72 movies and TV series, and has won 34 awards of the 161 for which he has been nominated, including three Oscar nominations.
He has been named ‘anti-fracking’s first famous face’ by the magazine “New York”.
In 2000, Mark exchanged vows with the American actress Sunrise Coigney, and who gave birth to their son Keen a year later, while their daughters Bella Noche and Odette followed in 2005 and 2007, respectively.
Mark was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2001, and was left with partial facial paralysis after undergoing surgery to remove it. The paralysis was gone around a year later, but Mark is still deaf in his left ear.
