One of the deputies made it over to the fight, tried to break up the fight, gave several verbal commands to break up the fight,’ Fred Jones of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office told WFTV

The video shows the officers initially tried to separate the girls, but they continued to fight. One officer is then seen pull out a taser and using it.

One girl was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center after discovering a stun gun probe had been caught in her bra under her arm and could not be removed by officers, according to Click Orlando.

Both girls were transported to Lake County Jail for booking.

They were charged with breach of peace and resisting without violence before being released to their respective parents.

The two students were also suspended by school administration.

Jones said the deputy followed policy when he used the taser on the students.

‘That was the safest way to make sure these students are going to be safe,’ he told WFTV.

Because of the amount of fights that broke out at the school last year, two resource officers were placed at the school.
