Former member of the Delta State House of Assembly for Udu Constituency, Hon Dr Liege Lord Keston Okoro Muhammed Al-Amin has commended Deltans for celebrating with unmistakable joy, the prospect of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in taking over the reign of governance in Delta State come 2023.

Addressing newsmen during the event which took place at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources playground, Effurun, Delta, Okoro noted that with the level of mobilization for the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s declaration on Thursday, it was clear PDP’s days in Delta were numbered.

He expressed pleasant surprise with the mammoth crowd which gathered for the official declaration of the Deputy President of the Senate for governor, adding that the crowd was ‘’overwhelming and this has sent real fears into the spine of the PDP family in Delta State.

“You can see the people celebrating. They are happy that a new dawn has come and the celebration is all about the prospect of a change in 2023.

‘’As I predicted before the rally in a press statement, what we are witnessing is the mother of all rallies. Nothing close to this had ever been seen in the state before. We are witnessing a revolution. Many people came uninvited because Deltans are tired of the maladministration of the PDP-led state government. PDP time is up and nothing will stop APC from winning in 2023.

“With due respect, I do hereby advise Dr Ifeanyi Author Okowa, the Governor of Delta State to quickly align with the Deputy Senate President, His Excellency, Senator Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege the Obarisi of Urhobo Land so as to have a soft landing instead of moving out of government house with shame as God’s handwritten is already on the wall, saying, Mene, Mene, Terke, Urphasin, meaning, PDP has being weigh in the balance and it scale, nothing, so it must go.

“Following the multitude of people who attended the declaration of the Deputy Senate President, it’s a portrayal of the fact that nothing lasts forever. Everything that has a beginning must have an end thus PDP in Delta State have met their waterloo and an end is their portion thereof.

“Suffice it to say that not only the mammoth crowd who attended the declaration brought massive hope and celebration to Deltans, but the inspirational speech of the Deputy Senate President who demonstrated competence, and absolute representation in the National Assembly by the fulfilment of his promises to the Delta Central people in terms of infrastructural development, educational advancement, capacity building, economic growth, human and resources development and empowerment,
employment opportunities, distribution of electrical equipment, agricultural development etc which obviously impressed all Deltans not to regret the mandate given to him to serve.

“It is indisputable that Deltans are hungry for change hence this huge crowd you are seeing numbering over 30,000 people. In the coming days, you shall hear PDP, out of frustration, saying this is a rented crowd. But you know these are people who came to be part of a movement for true change in Delta State because it’s only Deltans that can give the mandate for the change we all crave for.

‘’Okowa shall be shocked and before he recovers from his shock, the deed would have been done. Let me assure the APC family that this is the moment of change we have been waiting for. Ovie Omo-Agege is not the kind of man PDP can toy with and they know it. Rigging Omo-Agege out is out of the question. We shall win clean and clear. I am glad to be part of this movement’’, Keston Okoro Al-Amin added.

He appealed to all men and women of goodwill who loved Delta State to go and collect their PVC and ensure they vote at the 2023 election as votes most surely count. “No Woruworu, no Magomao because it is not going to be business as usual. I repeat nobody can rig Ovie Omo-Agege elections out most especially with present electoral rules hence I admonish all Deltans to join the moving train as soon as possible”, he said adding that PDP has met their match in Ovie Omo-Agege and that APC will be unstoppable in 2023.
