Captain Marvel 2 Set Photos Share by Brie Larson And Teases the Sequel’s Crazy Plot
MCU fans are excited about the new shows on Disney+ called Moon Knight and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but one of the movies they’re most excited about is The Marvels, which comes out next February. Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel, has shared a new set photo on Twitter to mark one year until the movie comes out.
It shows Larson’s chair with Carol Danvers’ name written across the top in yellow. “See you in a year, Carol,” is written on the chair with the words “See you in a year.” However, even though this doesn’t give us any more information, it is a good reminder that the movie will be out in 2023. Because we’re still a year away from the sequel’s release and the movie itself is still being made, there isn’t much we know about the plot at this point.
What we do know is that it will continue the adventures of Captain Marvel, whose last live-action appearance was in Avengers: Endgame. She will team up with both Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, both of whom are played by actresses. WandaVision was on Disney+ last year, and Vellani is set to make her MCU debut as Ms. Marvel later this year in a show called Ms. Marvel on Disney+. It will also feature Zawe Ashton, who played Velvet Buzzsaw and Dream of a Life. Samuel L. Jackson, who played agent Nick Fury in the first movie, is set to return as agent Nick Fury in the next movie, which is coming out soon.

The Marvels has been filming since early August last year, and since then we’ve seen fun things like a look at the logo. This new set photo, which is very boring, makes the wait for the movie even longer. The Marvels is set to open in theatres on February 17, 2023. For the most up-to-date news on the movie, stay with Collider. Take a look at Brie Larson’s tweet below while you wait:
Captain Marvel 2 Renewable Status and Release Date Info:
This movie, Captain Marvel 2, will continue Carol Danvers’ adventures or misadventures. Carol Danvers’ last live-action full-length appearance was in Avengers: Endgame, where she helped bring down Thanos. Her new partners are Teyona Parras’s Monica Rambeau from WandaVision and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel. This time, they will help her fight crime. If everything goes as planned for this year, Ms. Marvel will also get her own show on Disney+ this year. When Captain Marvel comes back, Samuel L Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury.
A person who is making the movie talked about how three women will work together in it. Nia DaCosta, who is the director, said that. When she was talking to Collider, she said that it was a lot of work to figure out how to give each of the “really big, exciting heroes” space in a two-hour movie. A lot of what we’ve been thinking about is what part of the journey each of them needs to see. How do we honour the part of the storey they’re at in terms of the canon, while also making them equal in our storey?
