17-year-old girl detained after ‘big boy’ who took her to store to buy her iPhone 11 Pro absconded with the phone and abandoned her (Video)

A 17-year-old girl has been detained by the Nigeria police for allegedly conniving with a ‘big boy’ who absconded with an iPhone 11 Pro worth N350,000.

The girl, however revealed that she is innocent and was only deceived by the social media big boy named Caleb aka CVV Nation, who had promised to buy her the phone.

She revealed that they met on Facebook and he flew from Abuja to meet her on Lagos. When they eventually met, he indicated interest in dating her and that was how they started a relationship.

She said that when he noticed she did not have a phone he decided to take her to a phone store.

When they got there, he showed her the iPhone 11 Pro and asked if she likes it, she answered in the affirmative. But there was a bit of back and forth regarding the payment of N350k.

She said that he requested her ATM card to get the balance of the money and even collected the cash she had on her.

According to her, Caleb had been discussing the payment with the store owner when he excused himself to get something outside and absconded with the phone leaving her behind.

In a video which is circulating online, the teenage girl narrated how they met and the events that unfolded leading up to the moment the guy abandoned her at the phone store and disappeared with the iPhone 11 Pro.
